These terms apply to everyone who uses ReachScreen: advertisers who buy adverts, and venues who host our screens. By using the service you agree to them.
What the service is
ReachScreen displays adverts on screens in physical venues. We are the operator: we decide which adverts are accepted and which screens they run on.
For advertisers
- You pay for a plan, which covers a set period (for example, 14 days). You choose either automatic renewal, which charges your card again at the end of each period, or paying for each period yourself. You can turn automatic renewal off at any time from your dashboard.
- Every advert is reviewed before it runs. We may reject anything unlawful, misleading, offensive, or unsuitable for a public venue, and we will tell you why so you can fix it.
- You confirm you own or are licensed to use everything you upload, and that it complies with Nigerian advertising law.
- Delivery is measured by proof of play: a verified record of your advert being displayed on a screen. We report plays, screens and times.
- We do not measure viewers. We make no promise about how many people saw an advert, and any audience or footfall figure you may see elsewhere is not part of what we sell.
For venues
- You host our equipment, keep it powered and connected, and do not move, modify or tamper with it.
- You can pause our adverts on your own screen at any time from your dashboard.
- Earnings shown in your dashboard are an estimate based on recorded plays. They are not a payment or a guarantee until we agree payment terms with you in writing.
- Equipment we supply remains ours unless we agree otherwise.
Refunds and cancellation
You can cancel your plan at any time from your dashboard. Cancelling stops the next charge; your plan keeps running until the end of the period you have already paid for. If a renewal payment fails, you keep the time already paid for, and renewal stops after repeated failures.
Payment for a period that has already started is not refunded automatically. If we reject an advert we tell you why, so you can fix it and submit it again within your plan. If you believe you are owed a refund, email us and we will look at it.
You can stop a campaign at any time by asking us; we will stop it on the screens at the next update.
Availability
We work to keep screens running, but they depend on power and internet in a venue we do not control. Short interruptions happen and are not a breach of these terms. If a screen is out for a long period we will make it right, normally by extending your campaign.
Acceptable use
Do not upload malware, attempt to break into the service, or use it to publish content that is illegal or that promotes harm. We may suspend an account that does.
Liability
We are responsible for providing the service with reasonable care. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; we will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell account holders. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
